The Augusta Public library will be hosting an instructional night on the Library System’s Digital Media Library. E-Books and Audio Books are available for free checkout to library patrons of the Greater West Central Library District. As the popularity of e-readers such as Nook and Kindle are skyrocketing so is the demand for access to free books. Audio Books are also available for your iPod, or mp3 player these can be downloaded and listened to in your car, or home at your leisure. If you would like to find out more information on how to access this free program and you live in the Greater West Central Library District join us at the Augusta Library on Tuesday, February 12th from 6-8pm. Staff will be on hand to demonstrate how to access and use the Digital Media Library as well as help in acquiring usernames and passwords.
